The very last Autospeed presentation at Retallack Park, St Columb, gave the place a terrific send off, with good car numbers in all three classes who raced at a memorable meeting, that was viewed by a large crowd.
BriSCA F2 Stock Cars
Over 70 F2s packed into the pit area, easily beating the previous best car count for St Columb.
Scottish ace 7 Gordon Moodie swept to a heat and final double, whilst 721 Graham Kelly and 700 Adam Rubery were the other heat winners and 116 Ashley Rundle won the consolation.
The honour of winning the last ever F2 race at St Columb went to 830 Andrew Bennett as he took the Grand National.
National Bangers
Despite some non-appearances by drivers on the booking list, there were still more than 30 drivers in attendance for a thrilling night of action fro the National Bangers, which included numerous rollovers.
208 Jimmy Randall won the first World Championship Wild Card event, to book his place on the grid at Ipswich in November. The race included a sensational double rollover, involving 702 James Dodge and 05 Carlos Perez.

On count back, 714 Paul Smaldon was adjudged the winner, as the evening ended with smiles, handshakes and an all-round feeling of fun.
